WHAT IS AME COURSE

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a License program regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are licensed personnel and they are responsible for safety and security of the Aircraft, Helicopters and other flying machines. They mainly deal with construction, repair and maintenance of aircrafts. Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are specially trained to carry out complex maintenance process and issue CRS(Certificate to Release to Service) for aircraft before each take off.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) program is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

ELIGIBILITY

Students who have Passed/Appearing 10+2 (PCM) are eligible to apply for the Programme and Students who have done diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic & Aeronautical stream are also eligible for AME.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

AME Program is divided into several categories but the three major categories which covers entire maintenance requirement & avionics requirement of an Aircraft are:
1. Category A1
2. Category B1.1
3. Category B2

PLACEMENT

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer find placement in Airlines, General Aviation, Government Aviation, Foreign Airlines and all such organizations which has got flying aircraft.
